Born in Venice on 7 March 1971, he grew up in Murano. At 14 he entered Pino Signoretto's furnace, then trained at Seguso Vetri d'Arte among chandeliers, vases, cups and sculptures.
In Mirco D'Este he found his real teacher and explored filigree and zanfirico. At Berto Mattiello's factory, known as «Geremia», he made glasses as light as air.
Before 2000 he joined Ars Murano. With masters Cammozzo, Raffaeli and Moro he discovered solid glass, heavy and massive pieces that require strength as well as sensitivity.
